Promoting community led initiatives to unlock sustainable income opportunities from every kind of natural resource available in our hometown district. 

Every place in the world has typical natural resources available in abundance whereas other places do not have same resources at all. Hence it is very important that we identify all our natural resources available in our district which can be converted into a beneficial asset to support the economic growth of the district community. 

Some of the examples of natural resources could be river, seashore, mountain, forests, waterfalls, huge rocks, trees, plants, fruits, flowers, vegetables, natural geographical formations, particular environment, enjoyable climate, pleasant winter, exciting monsoon, beautiful summer, timebound changes in the nature, particular kind of animals, peculiar birds, wonderful natural sites and so on.  

 So let us use these examples as the guiding and reference points to see what are the natural resources do we have and analyse them one by one. For example, analyse the current usage/benefit against the full potential of the natural resource. If there is a gap, then let us brainstorm on how to bridge the gap and take full advantage of available opportunity.  

It may be possible that there may still be some natural resources which have not yet been looked at or considered for whatever reason for converting them into commercial opportunities. The reasons could be just ignorance, not realising the strength, no need of additional income opportunities etc. 

Now we understand the purpose of this subject. So let us identify all such natural resources and analyse them one by one to generate new local business/income opportunities.
